CURE will not be meeting at The Lighthouse Church on Thursdays until further notice while the church building is closed; however, The Lighthouse Church will be conducting virtual services in the meantime.  Check out the CURE Facebook page and The Lighthouse Church Facebook page for resources and opportunities!

The Lighthouse Church

CURE is an addiction-recovery ministry of The Lighthouse Church.   Our mission is to help people affected by addiction change their habits, behaviors, and relationships through the many services, agencies, resources, and ministries available.  Our goal includes addressing their spiritual and emotional needs by reaching out to them with Gospel solutions through the Word and work of Jesus Christ.  CURE serves as a clearinghouse of services, agencies, facilities, and ministries that address three key aspects of addiction:  the need for helping, healing, and hoping.

In a time of crisis, when the painful reality and social stigma of addiction becomes overwhelming, there is HELP. As a result of our own experiences, we empathize with the feelings of fear, frustration, isolation, shame, guilt, confusion, helplessness, and the sorrow of fractured relationships that accompany addiction.  CURE volunteers are willing to meet with you and/or your family wherever you are-- physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Street Team

When you express the desire to get off the rollercoaster ride of addiction, CURE’s Street Team will be there for you when you call. We understand what you are going through and will help you find the way to recovery.

Family Crisis Team

CURE’s Family Crisis Team supports the loved ones who are hurting as a result of another’s addiction. Our volunteers can meet with you to offer support in the form of practical guidance and information compiled by the Resources Team as you navigate through this crisis.

Transportation Team

CURE’s Transportation Team provides transportation to treatment facilities and/or related appointments.

Helping Resources

Recovery is your time to heal.  We understand that setbacks following substance abuse are very unique from other issues you may have confronted.  CURE offers meetings for Recovery & Support Groups as well as resources to promote healing from both the chemical dependency and spiritual deficit that those in addiction and their loved ones experience.   Recovery/Support Groups meet from 7:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Childcare is provided for children of CURE participants from 6:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  (please RSVP for childcare at 609-305-1711).

Healing Resources

The very definition of hope is “a feeling of expectation and desire that a certain thing will happen.” It is possible for you to have hope again in your life.  We share the same desire for comfort and peace.  Join us on Thursday evenings at The Lighthouse Church for a time of hospitality, fellowship, and prayer support.  Participants attending our Recovery & Support Groups can enjoy a full meal served by our Hospitality Team beginning at 6 p.m.  The meal is followed by a time of music and praise from 6:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. after which we will share a message from God's Word until 7:15 p.m.  The Recovery/Support Groups meet from 7:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Our Prayer Support Team is always ready to pray with and for you.  Child Support is provided for children of CURE participants from 6:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. (please RSVP for childcare at 609-305-1711).
